A son and an adopted daughter died at the ages of nine and eleven in 1895 of dipheria. April 1925 she was united in marriage with Elias K. Blauch. Her love for boys and girls and her great concern for their welfare and happiness endeared her to her grandchildren, all of whom were greatly devoted to her.
