  BLAUCH
  
    Glen Thomas Blauch, 76, Berlin, died Dec. 29, 1997, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Dec. 2, 1921 in Ridgeley, W.Va.  Son of the late Earl Ray
  and Nellie Leola (Ward) Blauch.  Also preceded in death by stepmother, Alma
  Leona Mason-Blauch; wife, the former Nettie Susan Mersing, whom he married
  Aug. 31, 1946, and brothers:  Carl Ward Blauch and Paul Ray Blauch. 
  Survived by these children:  Glen Thomas Blauch Jr. of Bethesda, Md.; Paul
  Ray Blauch of Sydney, Australia; David Alan Blauch of Bowie, Md.; 7
  grandchildren:  Ryan Thomas, Christina Lee, Jason Edward, Jeremy Paul,
  Justin Thomas, Eric Thomas and Robert Allan Blauch; 2 nieces raised by
  Glen:  Mrs. James (Ann Johnson) Ashby of Oakland, Md., and Mrs. Ernest
  (Jeanie Johnson) Hoffman of Somerset; 5 great-nieces and great-nephews: 
  Diane and Jeff Ashby, Mrs. Paul (Susan) Smith, Brad and Eric Hoffman. 
  Brother of Ralph L. Blauch of Harrisonburg, Va.; Mrs. Arthur (Gladys)
  Garges of Doylestown; Mrs. R. Emerson (Mildred) Miller of Perkasie; James
  W. Blauch of Harrisonburg, Va., and Mrs. Arthur (Irene) Moreland and Dale
  E. Blauch, both of Keyser, W.Va.  Member of Somerset Alliance Church and
  Shopman's Local No. 527.  Employed by Uptegraff Transformer Co. for 24
  years.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at
  the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home.  Services will be conducted at 10 a.m.
  Thursday at Somerset Alliance Church, Somerset, with the Rev. Walter L.
  Frankenberry, officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. 
  Contributions may be made to Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 651 South Center
  Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.  Viewing at the church from 9 a.m. until time of
