    Nettie Susan Blauch, 72, Garrett Shortcut, Berlin, died March 1, 1997, at
  her residence.  Born March 21, 1924, in Crellin, Md.  Daughter of Charles
  Emil and Clara Bell (White) Mersing.  Preceded in death by parents;
  brothers, Leonard, Elmer, Clyde and James Mersing; sisters, Ruth Mersing,
  Nora Mae Bowser and Miami E. Johnson.  Survived by husband, Glen Thomas
  Blauch Sr., to whom he was married for 50 years, and these children:  glen
  Thomas Blauch Jr., Bethesda, Md.; Paul Ray Blauch, Singapore; David Alan
  Blauch, Crofton, Md.; foster children:  Mrs. James (Ann Johnson) Ashby,
  Oakland, Md.; Mrs. Ernest (Jeanie Johnson) Hoffman, Somerset RD 3;
  grandchildren:  Ryan Thomas, Christina Lee, Jason Edward, Jeremy Paul,
  Justin Thomas, Robert Alan and Eric Thomas Blauch; foster grandchildren: 
  Diane and Jeff Ashby, Mrs. Paul (Susan) Smith, Brad and Eric Hoffman. 
  Sister of Mrs. Frederick (Anna B.) Graham, Crellin, Md., and Charles L.
  Mersing, Kingwood, W.Va.  Member of Somerset Alliance Church.  1942
  graduate of Oakland (Md.) High School.  Former bookkeeper for Somerset
  Christian Bookstore and the Somerset schools.  Friends received from 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home.  Services will be
  conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Somerset Alliance Church, with the Rev. Dr.
  Melvin E. Vance officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. 
  Contributions may be made to Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 651 S. Center
  Ave., Somerset, Pa 15501.  Viewing at the church from 9 a.m. until time of
