Blocher, 95, Salisbury, died Aug. 4, 1998, at Meyersdale Medical Center. Born June 24, 1903, in Summit Township, a daughter of the late John and Amanda (Murray) Brown and was also preceded in death by four brothers, Will, Frank, Morris and Lloyd and four sisters, Martha, Ella, Annie and Florence. Survived by two sons, John V. Blocher and wife, Mary "Biz," Gahanna, Ohio; E. Wayne "Quiz" Blocher and wife, Vi, Springs; daughter, Rita Gray and husband, William, Wildwood, Fla., brother, Clarence Brown, Salisbury, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Member of Cornerstone Assembly of God Church and was retired postmaster for the Boynton, Post Office. Member of retired postal employees association. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, at Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, at Cornerstone Assembly of God with the Rev.
