  BLOCHER
  
    Mildred E. Blocher, 89, of 1724 River Rd., Salisbury died Oct. 24, 2000
  at Meyersdale Medical Center, Meyersdale.  Born March 3, 1911 in West
  Salisbury, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie (Russell)
  Wagner.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy F. Blocher, March
  13, 1980 and two sisters, Thelma Miller and Leona Wagner.  Survivors
  include a son, Gary B. Blocher, Salisbury, a sister, Dorothy Jeffrey,
  Salisbury, and a grandson Jason Blocher.  Member of St. John's United
  Church of Christ and the Farm Women.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, Md.,
  where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Rev. Raymond Brown
  officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.  Expression of sympathy may be
  directed to St. John's United Church of Christ.
