"Vi" Blocher, 78, of Springs, died April 22, 2003, at her residence. Born June 2, 1924, in Listonburg, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Jeannette (Kamp) Holliday. Survived by her husband, Wayne "Quiz" Blocher; three brothers, Freeman and Delbert Holliday, both of Fort Hill; Victor "Bill" Holliday, Grantsville, Md.; two sisters, Irene, of California, and Ruth Sausman, Confluence. Member of Cornerstone Assembly of God, Boynton, and was a retired seamstress for Salisbury Sportswear. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Newman Funeral Home Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Hwy, Salisbury. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Cornerstone Assembly of God with the Rev. Thomas Twigg officiating. Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
