    Alice L. (Zimmerman) Blough, 78, Boswell, died Feb. 24, 2008, at Meadow View
  Nursing Center. Born June 26, 1929, in Jenner Township, the daughter of Clyde
  and Florence (Winters) Zimmerman. Preceded in death by parents; infant
  daughter; brother, Michael Zimmerman; and sisters, Florence Snyder and  Maude
  Powell. Survived by her husband of 60 years,  Ronald Dean Blough; children,
  Ronald M., married to the former Joanne Smakula, Conemaugh Township; and
  Constance S., married to Robert Layding, Calabash, N.C.;  grandchildren,
  Michael Blough, Las Vegas; David Blough  and wife, Emily, Pittsburgh; and
  Kristen, married to  Travis Lambert, Somerset; great-grandchildren, Ella
  Blough,  Caleb and Lane Lambert; sisters, Madeline Hershberger, Orlando, Fla.;
  and Margaret, married to Robert Blough, Jenner Crossroads; sisters-in-law,
  Helen, married to  Alfred Weaver, Boswell; and Pauline Zimmerman,  Somerset;
  and numerous nieces and nephews. A 1947  graduate of the former Boswell High
  School. Member  of Hopewell United Methodist Church, Meyersdale Lodge  No. 1951
  BPO Elks and the ILGWU. A retired seamstress  for the former Dorfman & Hoffman
  Garment Factory,  Boswell. Alice's favorite past time was making quilts. 
  Viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the  Hoffman Funeral Home &
  Cremation Services,  227 Allegheny St., Boswell. Viewing also from 10 a.m.
  until time of service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hopewell Church. The Rev. Wilma
  Horner officiating. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.
