Blough, 74, of Greencastle, formerly of Stoystown, died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 1993, at the Waynesboro Hospital, Waynesboro. He was born Nov. 15, 1918, in Quemahoning Township, a son of the late Burton J. and Mary E. (Baldwin) Blough. He was also preceded in death by a son, Clyde H. Blough Jr., and by a grandson. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty J. (Shaffer) Blough; three sons: Paul E. Blough, Gettysburg; Nikki L. Blough, Wellersburg, and Jeffrey T. Blough, Spokane, Wash.; four daughters: Sue Ann Bittner, Somerset; Cindy L. Romesburg, Meyersdale, and Colleen Kennell, Hyndman. Also by a foster daughter, Jolee Brindle, St. Thomas; a brother, Merle Blough, Greencastle, and two sisters: Verna Schmucker, Jennerstown, and Dorothy Jones, Stoystown; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He retired with 18 years employment with Grove World-wide in Shady Grove. He had worked as a civilian aircraft engine mechanic for the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, with Rev. Donald Meyers officiating.
