  BLOUGH
  
    Hans G. Blough, 18, Brookline, Mass., died Thursday, June 28, 1990, in
  Faulkner Hospital, Boston, Mass., as the result of a golf cart accident on
  Wednesday.  He was born Jan. 1, 1972, in Johnstown, a son of Lester M.
  Blough of Brookline, Mass., and Cathy L. (Shaffer) Giesey, Farmville,
  N.C.  He is also survived by his stepfather, James F. Giesey; two
  sisters:  Lisa Marie Adams, Miami, Fla.; and Heather Anne Blough,
  Farmville, N.C.  He was a grandson of Beatrice P. (Saylor) Blough of
  Jerome; the late Lester M. Blough Sr.; and Nevin P. and E. Geraldine
  (Miller) Shaffer of Somerset.  He was a 1990 graduate of Brookline High
  School, where he excelled as a varsity basketball player.  He was an avid
  basketball player and all his life had planned to attend Santa Barbara City
  College, Santa Barbara, Calif.  Prior to residing in Brookline, he lived in
  Buckhannan, W.Va.  Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday in
  the Blough Mennonite Church.  Dr. M.E. Vance officiating.  Interment, church
  cemetery.  The body will lie in state in the church from noon until the hour
  of service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hans G. Blough
  Scholarship Fund, Brookline High School, Brookline, Mass.
