Born March 26, 1892 in Conemaugh Township, son of Jeremiah and Polly (Eash) Blough. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Mary M. Eppley, died Sept. 10, 1973; infant daughter; great-grandchildren; four sisters and one brother. Survived by two children, Dorene, widow of Millard R. Cauffiel, Holsopple RD 2, and Clifford L., married to the former Alice Chestnut, Unionville, Va., eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Also sisters-in-law, Stella Boyer, Holsopple RD 2, Emma Thomas, Holsopple RD 1, and Jessie Trexel, Holsopple RD 2. Life-long member of Blough Mennonite Church. Last surviving member of immediate family. Retired owner/operator of former Thomasdale Garage for 22 years. Also Tipple boss for former Penn Smokeless Coal Company, Hyasota for many years. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny St., Boswell. Service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Blough Church where viewing will also be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. Sanford G. Shetler and Rev. David E. Mishler officiating.
