  BLOUGH
  
  Stephen Blough, 87, Hollsopple RD 2, died the evening of Nov. 26,
  1983, at Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  Born June 15, 1896, in
  Johnstown, son of Abram A. and Lydia (Howard) Blough.  Preceded in
  death by parents; stepfather, Silas Thomas; wife, the former Effie
  Sala; infant daughter, brother, Irvin; three sisters:  Cordelia Eash,
  Maggie Sipe and Linnie Hershberger.  Survived by these children: 
  Virgil, married to the former Ann Cauffiel; Almeda, wife of Donald
  Lohr, and Martha Ann, wife of Charles Beener, all of Boswell RD 1;
  Virginia, wife of Merle Gindlesperger, and Beatrice, wife of Dorsey
  Eash, both of Johnstown RD 4; Franklin, married to the former Mona
  Jones, and Margaret, wife of John Updyke, both of Hollsopple RD 2;
  Betty, wife of Donald Shaffer, Florida Avenue, Johnstown; 22
  grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and two
  great-great-grandchildren.  Brother of:  Annie Sala, Hollsopple RD 2;
  Olive Gindlesperger, Stoystown RD 1; and Gladys Shaffer, Boswell RD
  1.  member of Thomas Mennonite Church.  Friends received from 2-9
  p.m. Monday and until noon Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main
  St., Boswell, whose body will be removed to Thomas Mennonite Church
  for viewing from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m., with the
  Rev. Donald Speigle and the Rev. Aldus Wingard officiating. 
  Interment, church cemetery.
