Miss Blubaugh had been in bad health for the past eight months, and this was believed to have been the cause of her rash act. She was born August 24th, 1885 at Ursina, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Blubaugh, and was aged 46 years and 25 days. For the past thirty years she had made her home with her uncle, Harvey Blubaugh, acting as his housekeeper. She is survived by six sisters and three brothers, as follows: Mrs. Anna Critchfield, Joe Blubaugh and John Blubaugh, Ursina; Mrs. Jennie Gibbons and Edward Blubaugh, Connellsville; Mrs. Catherine Rise, Somerset; Mrs. Stella Kregar, New Brighton; Mrs. Ellen Keslar, Sharpsburg, and Mrs. Dorothy Batholomew, Confluence. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m., at the home of her parents near Ursina, Rev. Daniel E. Hartman of the Confluence Baptist Church officiating. Interment in Ursina Cemetery.
