Blucas, 72, Stoystown RD 1 (Ralphton), died Feb. 5, 1986, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born March 14, 1913, in Ralphton, son of Peter M. and Katherine (Kandelski) Blucas. Preceded in death by parents; two brothers: Mike and Stanley; sister, Victoria. Survived by widow, the former Helen Mish; six daughters: Pam, wife of Ralph Esposita, Ralphton; Kathy, wife of Greg Miller, Hooversville; Bev, widow of Dave Sadowsky, Boswell; Fran, wife of Steve Furman, Acosta; Carol, wife of George Vish, Janet, wife of Joey Hegadus, both of Boswell; five grandchildren. Brother of: Josephine Meholic, Reels Corner; Catherine Nedrow, Melcroft; Joseph, Ft. Collins, Colo.; Edward Ralphton; Mary Cook, Detroit, Mich.; Walter, Boswell; Ted, Levittown; Stella Bauerle, Indianapolis, Ind.; Frances Zellam, Hooversville; Henry, Stoystown. Member of St. John's Catholic Church, Acosta. Army veteran of World War II. Prisoner of War for nine months. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday. Mass of Christina Burial at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Church, with the Rev. Benjamin Dykas officiating. Interment, St. Joseph's Cemetery, Ralphton.
