  John M. Blucas, 72, Stoystown RD 1 (Ralphton), died Feb. 5, 1986, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born March 14, 1913, in Ralphton, son
  of Peter M. and Katherine (Kandelski) Blucas.  Preceded in death by
  parents; two brothers:  Mike and Stanley; sister, Victoria.  Survived
  by widow, the former Helen Mish; six daughters:  Pam, wife of Ralph
  Esposita, Ralphton; Kathy, wife of Greg Miller, Hooversville; Bev,
  widow of Dave Sadowsky, Boswell; Fran, wife of Steve Furman, Acosta;
  Carol, wife of George Vish, Janet, wife of Joey Hegadus, both of
  Boswell; five grandchildren.  Brother of:  Josephine Meholic, Reels
  Corner; Catherine Nedrow, Melcroft; Joseph, Ft. Collins, Colo.;
  Edward Ralphton; Mary Cook, Detroit, Mich.; Walter, Boswell; Ted,
  Levittown; Stella Bauerle, Indianapolis, Ind.; Frances Zellam,
  Hooversville; Henry, Stoystown.  Member of St. John's Catholic
  Church, Acosta.  Army veteran of World War II.  Prisoner of War for
  nine months.  Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where wake
  service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday.  Mass of Christina Burial at
  10 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Church, with the Rev. Benjamin Dykas
  officiating. Interment, St. Joseph's Cemetery, Ralphton.  Memorial
  contributions to St. John's Catholic Church would be appreciated.
