Born Sept. 25, 1919, in Brothersvalley Township, son of Harry and Mary (Mohilchock) Boburchock. Preceded in death by parents; stepfather, Wasco Chipelock; son, Bradley Keith Boburchock; sisters, Anna Webb and Helen Trulick. Survived by his wife of 57 years, the former Helen E. Johnson; children, Diane, married to James Walker, and Robert, married to the former Lois Beeghly, all of Berlin; daughter-in-law Sherri (Shaulis), married to Roger Lee of Somerset; grandchildren, Richard Walker, Greg Walker, married to the former Sue Scurfield, Jamie, Chad, Jeramy and Brandon Boburchock; great-grandson, Tanner Walker. Also survived by sister, Kathryn Lutzic of Johnson City, N.Y., and two brothers, Pete Chipelock of Warren, Ohio. Retired carpenter from William Baltzer & Sons of Shanksville. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War, serving with the 80th Division and a member of the National 80th Division. Member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin, where he was a former deacon, elder and consistory president. Retired in January after 30 years as sexton of the church. A 54-year member of the Berlin Volunteer Fire Dept. and past captain of the Fire Police for many years. Charter member of the Berlin Area Ambulance Association. member of the Harry Fisher Post 445 of the American Legion where he was past adjutant and past commander. A past Somerset County American Legion Commander. Member of the Lat Man's Club and the Berlin Lions Club. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home in Berlin where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Rev. Melvin A. Kirk Jr. and Rev. Ralph G. Landis officiating. Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity United Church of Christ Steeple Fund, Berlin, PA 15530.
