  BOCKES
  
  Henry C. Bockes, 77, Meyersdale RD 1, died May 2, 1989, at Sacred
  Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  Born Jan. 24, 1912, in Garrett, a
  son of the late Daniel W. and Ollive (Haer) Bockes.  Preceded in
  death by wife, Ada Pearl Watson, in 1949; also daughter, Betty. 
  Survived by widow, Mary Sanner; and these children; Roger, Meyersdale
  RD 4; Henry Jr., Donald, Jerry, Mrs. Joyce Briskey, Mrs. Carol Taylor,
  all of Meyersdale; David of Garrett; Mrs. Shirley Meyers of
  Friendsville, Md.; Mrs. Jean Beachy, Grantsville, Md.; Mary and
  Beverly of Meyersdale RD 1; and Judy of Boynton; 17 grandchildren and
  7 great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received at Leckemby Funeral
  Home Wednesday 7-9 p.m., and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where service
  will be Friday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Rodney Murray officiating. 
  Interment, Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
