  IDA BOCKES
  
    Mrs. Ida Bockes, 86, of Garrett, died March 25, 1974, at her
  residence.
    Born April 29, 1887, in Meyersdale, she was a daughter of the late
  Joseph and Eliza (Schrock) Shumate.  She was preceded in death by her
  husband, Washington, in 1944.
    Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Erma Wagner, Salisbury; Miss
  Eliza Bockes and Mrs. Roy Bush, Garrett; also six grandchildren; 16
  great-grandchildren.
    Funeral service will be held this Thursday afternoon at two o'clock
  in Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, with Rev. Richard duPont and Rev.
  Robert Burns officiating.  Interment in Salisbury Cemetery.
