    David E. Boden, 73, Sewickley RD 4, formerly of Rockwood RD 1, died
  Feb. 5, 1997 at Butler Veterans Hospital.  Born March 8, 1923 in
  Garrett, son of the late James and Mary (Sheeler) Boden.  Preceded in
  death by his wife, the former Mary Jane Sharpe; a son, Ronald; sisters
  Olive Boden and Annie Karolus and brothers: Melvin, Robert, James and
  Harry Boden.  Survived by these children:  David E. Fisher, Colorado
  Springs, Colo.; Kenneth Boden, Butler; Donna Boden, Sewickely; Mrs.
  Ronald (Darlene ) Wellington, Zelienople; and William Boden,
  Sewickley; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Brother
  of Lloyd Boden, California, Pa; Paul Boden, Rockwood RD 1; Mrs. Merle
  (Mary) Wolford, Phoenix, Ariz.; Ruby Sager, Berlin, and Mrs. Harry
  (Ethel) Hileman, Coraopolis.  Retired electrician for J & L Steel,
  Pittsburgh.  Veteran of the U. S. Army in World War II.  Member of
  the VFW and American Legion in Ambridge, Pa.  Friends will be
  received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral
  Home in Rockwood, where funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m.
  Saturday with the Rev. Don Judy officiating.  Interment, Highland
  Cemetery, Garrett.
