  JAMES EDGAR BODEN
  
    James Edgar Boden, 75, Rockwood RD 1, died July 30 at his home.  He
  was born Feb. 13, 1888 in Garrett County, Md., the son of Joseph and
  Martha Smith Boden.
    He is survived by seven sons: Harry, Somerset RD 1; James, Somerset
  RD 1; Robert, Somerset RD 1; Lloyd, Coraopolis; Melvin, Rockwood;
  David, Sewickley; Paul, Rockwood RD 1; four daughters:  Mrs. Anna
  Carolus, Rockwood RD 1; Mrs. Mary Wolford, California; Mrs. Ruby
  Sager, Somerset RD 1; Mrs. Ethel Hileman, Coraopolis; two brothers:
  Norman, Bobtown, Pa.; Calvin, Garrett, Pa; one sister, Mrs. Lillie
  Lohr, Garrett, Pa.; 32 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
    He was a retired coal miner.
    Friends will be received at the William J. Wood Funeral Home after
  12 noon Thursday until 12 noon Saturday when the remains will be
  removed to the Garrett EUB church and lie in state until  2:30 p.m.,
  the time of service.
    Officiating will be the Rev. Earl Meyers.  Interment will be in the
  Garrett Cemetery.
