"Friday," Boden, 86, 205 Ash St., Brownsville, Pa, formerly of Rockwood and Ambridge, died Sept. 29, 1999 at home. Born March 11, 1913 in Garrett, son of James E. and Mary Belle (Sheeler) Boden. Preceded in death by six brothers: Harry, James, Melvin, Robert, Paul and David Boden; two sisters: Anna Carolus and Olive Boden. He was married Feb. 26, 1936 to Carrie (Hileman) Boden, who survives him. They observed 63rd wedding anniversary. Also survived by five children: Audrey Dewell, New Waterford, Ohio; Donald Boden, Clinton, Pa.; Peggy Shumate, New Waterford, Ohio; Nancy Norman, Monaca; and Barbara Samarin, Brownsville; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Three sisters: Mary Wolford, Arizona; Ruby Sager, Somerset; and Ethel Hileman, Cresson. Retired from American Bridge Steel Company in Bridgeville. Member of the United Steel Workers of America. Visitation from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Friday in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 42 Bank St., Fredericktown, Pa. Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. David Zona officiating.
