Born in Garrett, May 6, 1919 he was a son of the late Calvin and Susan Christner Boden. He is survived by his wife, Julia Isbir Boden; daughters: Mary Jo Moonis of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Marnie Marlowe of Liberty; nine grandchildren, two great-grandsons and nieces and nephews. A retired employee of the galvanized department at the Irvin plant, U.S. Steel Corporation and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and Korea, he was a member of the Liberty Veterans Club, Port Vue Memorial American Legion Post 447, Aliquippa Lodge 375, F. & A. Masons, Syria Temple of the Shrine and its McKeesport Caravan No. 4, Scottish Rite bodies and the Consistory of Pittsburgh. Services took place April 3 at the Willig Funeral Home, Inc., with the Rev.
