    Robert F. Boden, 73, of Rockwood died Oct. 23, 1988 in his home. 
  Born March 25, 1915 in Garrett, son of the late James E. and Mary
  Belle (Sheller) Boden. Survived by his wife, Arbutus (Dolly) Sleasman
  Boden of Rockwood; four daughters:  Mrs. Shirley Boden McMasters,
  Rockwood; Mrs. Mary Catherine Boden Thomas,Friendsville, Md.; Mrs.
  Shelva Jean Boden Lease, Rockwood; Mrs. Sandra Lee Boden Carlson,
  Rockwood; five brothers:  James and Paul of Rockwood; Lloyd,
  Brownsville; Melvin of Maryland; David of Sewickley; by four
  sisters:  Mrs. Robert (Annie) Carolus, Rockwood RD 1; Mrs. Mary Belle
  Wolford, Oregon; Mrs. Ruby Sager of Jennerstown; Mrs. Ethel Hileman,
  Glenwillard; by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. 
  Preceded in death by parents; one brother, Harry; one sister, Ollie;
  and an infant granddaughter, Mary Jane Thomas.  His death terminates
  a marriage union of 53 years.  At the time of his death he was the
  mayor of Rockwood.  He was former Democratic Committeeman of Somerset
  County, retired police officer and retired from the Pa. Dept. of
  Transportation.  He was an avid sportsman, belonging to the Rockwood,
  Salisbury, Grantsville, Scullton and Casselman Valley sportsmen's
  groups.  Friends will be received in the William J. Wood Funeral
  Home, Rockwood, 7-9 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday where
  services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Rex
  Wasser officiating. Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery. 
  Arrangements are under the direction of the William J. Wood Funeral
  Home, Rockwood, with Francis Brady supervising.
