(Ike) Bodes, 89, of Meyersdale RD 1 died Nov. 28, 1995, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born June 12, 1906, in Meyersdale. Son of the late Milton and Alice (Sipple) Bodes. Also preceded in death by his wife, Mamie (Stevanus) Bodes, and 10 brothers and sisters. He was the last member of his immediate family. Survived by a son, Earl R. Bodes Jr. of Greencastle, Pa.; a daughter, Sherri Maust of Salisbury; three grandchildren: Pamela Musselman, Lori Maust and Richard Maust; three great-grandchildren: Tyler and Lauren Scudder and Brent Maust. Retired farmer and retired from Potter's Sawmill and Clapper's Manufacturing. member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Salisbury, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Viewing at St. Paul's United Church of Christ from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. LaMar Bender. Interment, St. Paul's Cemetery. He was the last remaining member of his immediate family. Bodes is survived by a son, Earl R. Bodes, Jr., Greencastle, Pa.; a daughter, Sherri Maust, Salisbury; three grandchildren: Pamela Musselman, Lori Maust and Richard Maust; and three great-grandchildren: Tyler and Lauren Scudder and Brent Maust. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. He was a retired farmer and a former employee of Potter's Saw Mill and Clapper's Manufacturing. Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Home, Salisbury, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1.
