  BODES
  
    Esther Mardell Bodes, 85, of 651 St. Paul Rd., Meyersdale Medical
  Center.  Born Jan. 3, 1913 in Black Township, daughter of the late
  Nevin and Ida (Phillippi) Schrock.  She was also preceded in death by
  her husband, Ray Bodes; a grandson, Zachary Holliday; a brother Edgar
  Schrock, and a sister, Vendora Nicholson.  Survived by:  three
  daughters, Glenda Jackson, Fresno, Calif., Bonita Borrello and Sue
  Holliday, both of Meyersdale; five brothers, Nevin Schrock Jr.,
  Berlin, James Schrock, Stow, Ohio, Jerry and Sanford Schrock, both
  Akron, Ohio; four sisters, Annie Snyder, Mount Savage, Md., Margaret
  Brocht, Meyersdale, Ida Schrader, Lebanon, Ohio, and Nelda Weld,
  Culpeper, Va.; four grandchildren, Molly Meekins, Marta Wahl, Shay
  and Shauna Holliday, and a great grandsons, Drew Wahl and Carlyle
  Meekins.  She was a member of St. Paul Wilhelm United Church of
  Christ.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Wednesday at the Newman Funeral Home, Salisbury.  Services will be
  conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Wilhelm United Church of
  Christ with the Rev. Bruce Ashlock officiating.  Interment, St. Paul
  Cemetery.  Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Salisbury Area
  Family Center.
