  BODES
  
  Mamie V. Bodes, 65, Meyersdale, Rd 1, died July 31, 1979, in Sacred
  Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  Born Aug. 26, 1913, in Elk Lick
  Twp., daughter of Jerimiah Stevanus and Gertrude (Krautworth)
  (Stevanus) Witt of Somerset.  Besides her mother, she is survived by
  her husband, Earl; one son, Earl Jr. of Green Castle; and one
  daughter, Mrs. Sherri Maust of Springs.  She is also survived by four
  brothers:  Clarence of Jerome; Charles of Shaft, Md.; Arthur of
  Cresaptown, Md.; and Leroy of Dunbalk, Md.; and three
  grandchildren.  A member of St. Paul (Wilhelm) United Church of
  Christ.  Friends will be received from 2 p.m. Thursday at Thomas
  Funeral Home in Salisbury, where services will be held Friday at 2
  p.m., the Rev. Lloyd B. Sechriest and Rev. Harold McClay Jr.
  officiating.  Interment, St. Paul Cemetery.
