  RAY E. BODES
  
    Ray E. Bodes, 80, of Meyersdale RD 1, died Aug. 26, 1980 at home.
    He was born Feb. 11, 1900 in Elk-Lick Twp., son of the late Milton
  and Alice (Sipple) Bodes.  He is survived by his wife, the former
  Esther M. Schrock; three daughters, Mrs. Glenda Jackson of Fresno,
  Cal.; Mrs. Bonita Borrello of New Eagle, and Mrs. Sue Holliday of
  Meyersdale RD 1; two brothers, Earl and Harry Bodes, both of West
  Salisbury; and two granddaughters, Molly and Marda.
    He was a member and a former deacon of the St. Paul (Wilhelm)
  United Church of Christ.  He was a member of the Laborers Union No.
  419 of Listie.
    Friends were received at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury. 
  Funeral services were conducted at St. Paul United Church of Christ
  with the Rev. Lloyd E. Sechriest officiating.  Interment, St. Paul
  Cemetery.
