Bodziak, 86, Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate, formerly of Boswell, died Oct. 31, 1996, at Somerset Hospital. Born March 6, 1910 in Boswell, son of Stanley and Mary (Gembalik) Bodziak. Preceded in death by parents, sisters: Julia Cauffiel and Genevieve Bedzyk and brother, John. Survived by his wife, the former Mary Holoka; children: Sandra, wife of Eugene Albright, Huntingdon; Joseph "Butch", married to Barbara Tipton, Boswell RD 2; and Barbara, wife of Calvin Clark, Stoystown RD 1; nine grandchildren: Ronald Albright, Sharon Wilkerson, Theresa Peake, Joseph Albright, Robert and James Bodziak, Melissa, Michael and Michelle Clark, and eight great-grandchildren. Brother of: Walter, Detroit, Mich.; Stanley, Latrobe; Helen Gindlesperger, Neptune, N.J.; and Janina "Mimi" Piasecki, Belmar, N.J. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish, U.M.W.A. and Jenner Rod and Gun Club. Observed 60th wedding anniversary Oct. 17, 1996. Retired coal miner and former custodian for the North Star School District. Friends received from noon to 4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where wake service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Stanislaus Church, Boswell, with the Rev. Father Blase Wegierski, O.F.M. Conv. celebrant. Interment, St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
