  BOGER
  
    Bernice Murl Boger, 76, of Avella, died Aug. 13, 1995, in
  Washington County Health Center, Washington, Pa., after a lengthy
  illness.  Born Feb. 25, 1919, in Buckhannon, W.Va., daughter of the
  late James C., and Beena (Moore) Houghton.  Survived by her husband,
  Chester D., whom she married in 1948.  Also survived by a son, Gerald
  of Bethany, W.Va.; a daughter, Jill Pirello of Avella; four
  grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Sister of Ralph Houghton
  of Galena, Ohio, and a sister, Opal Waugh of Freedom.  Preceded in
  death by six brothers and one sister.  Friends will be received from
  2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Leckemby Funeral Home, where
  service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with Pastor Lamar
  Bender.  Interment, Hays Church Cemetery.
