  BOGER
  
  Homer P. Boger, 87, of Meyersdale RD 4, Hays Mill), died Dec. 7,
  1987, at Maple Mountain Manor.  He was born July 17, 1900, in
  Meyersdale, son of Ephriam E. and Mary (Poorbaugh) Boger.  Preceded
  in death by his parents and a number of brothers and sisters.  He was
  the last of his immediate family.  He is survived by his wife, the
  former Sadie Swearman; and these children:  Mrs. Henry H. (Kathleen)
  Shockey, Jr., Bridgeport, W.Va.; Robert E., at home; and Homer S.,
  married to the former Zona Mazer of Meyersdale; five grandchildren
  and eight great-grandchildren.  Also survived by a sister-in-law,
  Mrs. Baden (Minnie) Boger, Akron, Ohio.  He was a member of Mt. Zion
  (Hays) United Church of Christ, the Berlin Area Historical Society,
  and a lifetime member of Hillcrest Grange.  Friends will be received
  7-9 p.m. Tuesday, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, at the
  Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin, where services will be held at
  2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Harvey Stauffer officiating. 
  Interment, Hays Church Cemetery.
