  BOGER
  
    Thomas Allen Boger, 44, of Meyersdale, went to be with the Lord on
  May 12, 1998 at Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, Ill.  Born
  Oct. 3, 1953 in Meyersdale.  A son of Homer S. and Zona (Mazer) Boger,
  Meyersdale.  Also survived by his wife, the former Cherie P. Porter;
  two children: Thomas A. Jr. and Sarah, both at home.  A brother of
  Karen H., wife of Robert H. McIver, Owensboro, Ky., and William H.
  Boger, married to the former Janie Shumaker, Meyersdale.  In-laws:
  Elwood T. and Shelba Porter, Meyersdale; sisters-in-law: Vicki, wife
  of Larry VanMeter, Woodbridge, Va., and Wendy, wife of Larry Bartley,
  Manassas, Va.; brother-in-law: George Porter, married to the former
  Monica Deal, Meyersdale.  Also a number of nieces and nephews.  A
  rural carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Garrett and Rockwood. 
  Member of the Grace Independent Bible Church (White Oak) where he
  served as deacon and Sunday School teacher.  Friends will be received
  from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where
  service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday with Pastor Thomas E.
  Horner officiating.  Interment, White Oak Cemetery, Meyersdale.
