Bakersville-Edie Road, Somerset, died Aug. 3, 1998 at Somerset Hospital. Born in Johnstown on May 15, 1917. A daughter of the late Charles and Jesse (Schnurr) Kull. Preceded in death by husband, Raymond Clyde Boland, who died Jan. 12, 1989; twin grandsons, Jason and Michael Boland; granddaughter, Katie Marie Boland; three brothers: Clarence, Charles and Robert Kull; and two sisters, Lillian Kull and Dorothy Schreier. Survived by children: Mrs. Floyd (Jeannie) DePhillips, Westlake, Ohio; Mrs. Margaret "Peggy" Caola, Washington, D.C.; Ray Michael Boland, married to the former Jackalin Hagins, Somerset; and Mary Pat Boland, Washington D.C.; nine grandchildren: Sheldon Ulevich, and friend Cassie Mort; Jarrad, Jessie and Dennis Caola, Mrs. Kenneth (Kristine) Roth, Mark DePhillips, Josh, Luke and Isabel Boland; three great-grandchildren: Gregory, Joe and Tommy Roth, and brother , Wilbur, "Bill," Kull, Altoona. Member of St. Peter's Catholic Church; had been co-owner of the former Laurel Lodge and the former Bolands Dairy Bar, both of Bakersville; and cafeteria manager at Hidden Valley Resort from 1969 to 1975. Was a 1935 graduate of Johnstown Catholic High School. Friends received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset, Msgr. Samuel J. Tomaselli celebrant. Interment, Bakersville Cemetery.
