He was born May 18, 1932 in Meyersdale, a son of the late Edgar E. and Nell (Pugh) Bolden. He is preceded in death by a sister, Gloria and a brother, John. He is survived by these children: Edgar J. and his wife, Brenda of Meyersdale; Jeffrey and his wife, Alex, of Laurel, Md.; and Sharon Deen and her friend William Warnick, of Grantsville, Md.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A brother of Joseph and James Bolden, both of Meyersdale; Della Jones of Rockwood; Theda Joganic of Somerset and Lois Bolden of San Jose, Calif. He was a retired plumber of Bolden Plumbing Co. of Meyersdale, a member of SS Philip and James Catholic Church and the Home Aid of Charles E. Kelly Post American Legion. Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Leckemby Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the SS Philip and James Catholic Church with Rev. Father James Duggan, Celebrant. Interment, SS Philip and James Cemetery. A Christian Wake Service will be held at the funeral home.
