Born Jan. 12, 1924 in Meyersdale. A son of the late Edgar E. and Nell (Pugh) Bolden. Also pre-ceded in death by a sister, Gloria Stotler; and two brothers, John and Jack. Survived by his wife, the former Betty Kemp; and these children, Gary Bolden, Meyersdale; Wayne Bolden, and his wife Linda (Hardesty), Oakland, Md.; Robert Bolden, Meyersdale; and Jane, wife of Terry Smith, Meyersdale; also six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A brother of Joe Bolden, Meyersdale; Delia Jones, Rockwood; Theda Joganic, Somerset; and Lois, CA. A World War II veteran of the U.S. Army, where he was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. Retired from Bolden Brothers Plumbing and Heating, Meyersdale. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Funeral Mass will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at SS. Philip & James Catholic Church. The Very Rev. James M. Dugan, VF, celebrant. Committal will follow at SS. Philip & James Cemetery, Meyersdale.
