  JOSEPH E. BOLDEN
  
    Joseph E. Bolden, 76, Philadelphia, died January 16, in the
  Presbyterian Hospital, Philadelphia.  He was formerly of
  Meyersdale.  His wife, Mary Bomberger Bolden, is formerly of Reading.
    He was the son the late Frank and Anna (Wilhelm) Bolden, of
  Meyersdale.  
  He was a retired free-lance artist and had been employed by the
  Philadelphia Bulletin for four years.
    In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sisters: Elizabeth
  Jaxon, Broomall; Magdaline, wife of Charles Younkin, Hyattesville,
  Md.; and a brother, Frank Bolden, Meyersdale.  A son, Jason, preceded
  him in death.
