Bolster, 66, of Confluence died July 10, 1979 in the Somerset Community Hospital. Born July 21, 1912 in Fredrickton, New Brunswick, Canada, a son of the late Shenton and Jennie (Daye) Bolster. Survived by wife, Velma (Johnson) Bolster and two sons: The Rev. Peter S. of Adam, N.Y., pastor of the Adams Village Baptist Church, and Dr. Paul D. of Atlanta, Ga., professor of history at Clark College and member of the Georgia State Legislature; also four grandchildren; a brother, Jack of Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada; and a sister, Mrs. Eileen Smith of Fredrickton, New Brunswick, Canada. Served in the ministry for 43 years and pastored the following parishes: the Woodland Baptist Church of Colby Siding, Maine; the Danforth Larger Parish; the Brooklin Parish; and the Millinocket Parish, all in Maine; the Campton and Derry Parishes of New Hampshire; the Knoxville and Westfield Parish of Pennsylvania; the Olive Branch Baptist Church, Belle Vernon; and was the current pastor of the Turkeyfoot Valley Baptist Church in Confluence. Friends will be received from 3-5 and 7-9 Friday and until 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday from the Baptist Church. Interment, Derry, New Hampshire. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the memorial fund of the Turkeyfoot Baptist Church. Daily American, July 12, 1979 [B2009]
