He had been ill several months. Born at Rockwood, Pa., he had been a Canton resident for 38 years and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. LaVerda Bonheimer; three sisters, Mrs. Henry Lininger and Mrs. Catherine Romey of Canton, and Mrs. John Ayres of Cumberland, Md.; four brothers, Conrad and William of Canton, Albert of McKnightstown, Pa., and Charles Bonheimer of Phoenix, Ariz., and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Schneberger parlors, in charge of Rev. Tom Homrighausen. Burial in Forest Hill Cemetery, Canton. Meyersdale Republican, October 11, 1945
