BONNER James Alfred Bonner, 54, died Friday, November 9, 1984, at Frostburg Community Hospital, Maryland. Born in Dry Fork, W.Va., he was a son of the late James F. Bonner and Mabel (White) Bonner. He was on disability retirement from the Mount Savage Refractories Company. He is survived by his widow, the former Lois Teter; one son, Dennis Bonner, Barrelville, Maryland; three daughters, Mrs. Roberta Robertson, Barrelville, Md.; Mrs. Leslie Wilhelm and Mrs. Tracy Bonner Sturtz, both of Wellersburg; three stepsons, Elwood Sturtz, Wilmington, N.C.; Don Sturtz, Fayetteville, N.C.; Van Sturtz, Barrelville, Md.; three brothers: Harold G. Bonner, Ridgeley, W.Va.; Ralph S. Bonner, Ellerslie; Alvin T. Bonner, Fort Ashby, W.Va.; one sister, Mrs. Janet Emerick, Wellersburg, and nine grandchildren. Friends were received at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary, LaVale, where services were conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Elmer Porter.
