Born Dec. 27, 1912 in Rockhill, Huntingdon County, daughter of Thorten and Bessie (Chilcoat) Grove. Preceded in death by parents, husband Oscar Fillmore Booher who died Sept. 17, 1963, daughter Stella Booher, and half-sister Elsie Grove. Survived by children: Mrs. William (Thelma) Boyer of York; Frank Booher of Huntingdon; Mrs. Lillian Sandusky of York; Charles Booher of Quecreek; Mrs. Lester (Gloria "Jeannie") Henderson of Somerset; Mrs. Joyce Silvis, Somerset, and Mrs. George A. (Nancy) Percherke, Somerset; also numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Member of Bible Baptist Church, Somerset. Former cook for the former Beacon Restaurant. Retired seamstress for Somerset Pajama Factory with 17 years service. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. Dale Lyzbicki officiating.
