Booher, 71, Stoystown, formerly of Somerset, passed on Oct. 10, 2006, at Somerset Hospital. Born Jan. 11, 1935, in Huntingdon County, he is the son of the late Oscar and Agnes (Grove) Booher. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Stella; brother, Frank; and grandchildren, Chad Martin and Christopher Booher. He is survived by Gladys Booher; sons, Robert; Christopher, married to Wendy; and Oscar, married to Tammy; daughters, Carol Martin, married to Lloyd; and Patricia Thompson, married to Gary; grandchildren, Jason, Lloyd, Matt, Joshua, Danielle, Kimberly, Juliann, Jayleen, Jerry, Brandy, Patrick, Gary Jr., Robert, Ginger, Angela, Sherry, Samantha, Leroy, Christina, Amy, Brittany, Dana, and Elizabeth; 23 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Thelma, married to the Rev. William Boyer; Lillian, married to Jerry Eberly; Joyce Silvis; and Nancy, married to George Percherke. Charles was a member of the U.S. Army in the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post 181 in Somerset. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Somerset Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. James Vandervort, pastor, officiating.
