Born Dec. 9, 1926 in McMechen, W.Va., son of Fred and Pearl (Harn) Booth. Preceded in death by parents; stepmother, Christie Booth; first wife, the former Helen Ruth Waychoff; and brother, Aden Booth. Survived by his wife of 37 years: JoAnn "Jodi," (Phillips) Crites-Booth. These children: Larry L. Booth married to the former Kathy Heiple; Beverly A. Booth; Rodney C. Crites married to the former Carol Krause; and Randy J. Crites and friend Daphne Maust, all of Berlin; Stephen E. Crites, Somerset; and Richard B. Crites married to the former Rosalie Clayson, Los Angeles, Calif. Grandchildren: Shawn, Shane and Travis Booth, Christopher, Nicholas, Jessica, Jamie, Melissa, Caleb, Emma, Aubrey and Nathan Crites, Julie Moore and Joele Paul. Great grandchildren: Cole Booth, Tyler, Taylor and Jacob Crites, Marissa and Brody Moore, Lucaya and Dante Paul. Brother of Willis Booth, Northeast, Pa.; Martha Mitchell, Houston, Pa.; and Vialeta Fletcher, Arcadia, Fla. Also numerous nieces and nephews. World War II Army Air Corp veteran. Retired from Operating Engineers Local 66 with fifty years service. Member of Berlin Lions Club. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Rev. Owen Preston and Rev. Ralph Landis. Interment at 2 p.m. Thursday at Phillips Cemetery, Spraggs, Greene County. Instead of flowers, memorials may be given to "In Touch" Hospice, 1590 N. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
