    William L. Borelle, 62, 22 Coal Avenue, Jerome, died April 27, 1987
  at Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Dec. 29, 1924 in Jerome, son of
  Louis and Goldie (Todero) Borelle.  Preceded in death by parents;
  wife, the former Mary Jane Downie, died Nov. 18, 1980; brother,
  Vincent; and sister, Evelyn Adams.  Survived by these children: 
  Susan, wife of Ronald Sablotski, Summerhill; Marcella, wife of John
  H. Pebley, Jerome; Rosemary, wife of Tom Frampton, Johnstown RD 6;
  Thomas L., Winter Springs, Fla.; Donna, wife of Kenneth Brant,
  Listie; Nancy, wife of Wade Weimer, Holsopple RD 1; Brian and Scott
  W., both at home; and 11 grandchildren. Brother of Frank, Boswell RD
  2; Lillian Walls, Akron, Ohio; Dorothy Montgomery and Wayne, both of
  Copperas Cove, Texas; Louis, East McKeesport; and Darla Shaffer,
  Reynoldsville.  Member of Jerome Lutheran Church where he served on
  council and was past president.  Also member of Jerome American
  Legion Post 802, UMWA and Jenner Rod and Gun Club.  Navy veteran of
  World War II and Korean Conflict.  Retired miner and former employee
  of Penn Machine and Conemaugh Township Area Schools.  Friends
  received 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman
  Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell.  Service at 11 a.m. Friday at
  Jerome Lutheran Church where visitation will be held from 10 a.m.
  until the time of service, Pastors Pat and Chris Ramsey.  Interment,
  Maple Spring Cemetery.  No viewing at church.  Graveside military
  rite by Jerome American Legion.
