  MRS. WILLIAM BORLAND
  
    Mrs. Verna I. Borland, 78, Salisbury, died in Meyersdale Community
  Hospital, Nov. 12.  She was born in Terra Alta, W. Va., Jan. 6, 1890,
  the daughter of John W. and Lucinda (Bowman) Argenbright.
    Surviving are her husband, William Borland; one daughter, Mrs.
  Beatrice Manwell, Los Angeles; a granddaughter, Miss Penny Manwell,
  Kiel, Germany; also two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Cochrane, St. Charles,
  Pa.; and Mrs. Prima Wright, Salisbury.
    She was a member of the Methodist Church.
    Funeral service will be held this (Thursday) morning at 10:30
  o'clock at Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, with Rev. Ernest N.
  Rumbaugh officiating.
