Borosky Sr., 61, 166 Middle St., Jenners, died unexpectedly June 2, 1983 at home. Born Oct. 14, 1921 in Quecreek, son of Roman and Rose (Mroczkowski) Borosky. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Paula; sister, Marion Grebeck; brothers: Stanley, Henry and Edward. Survived by widow, the former Pauline Carpinteri; sons: Chester S. Jr., married to the former Nancy Trautman, Southmont (Johnstown); Gary, married to the former Karla Barta, Warner Robins, Ga.; and Mark, at home. Three grandchildren: Sean, Jennifer and James. Brother of: Catherine Groves and Jennie Berkey, both of Erie; Charles, Jerome; John, Jenners; and Joseph, Oxon Hill, Md.; also numerous nieces and nephews and mother-in-law, Grace Carpinteri, Somerset. Member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Jenners; Jenner Rod and Gun Club; Jerome Post 802, American Legion; Jerome Nest 556, Polish Falcons of America; Somerset County Old Timers Baseball Association; and AARP. Army-Air Corps Veteran of World War II, having served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. Formerly employed by Pennsylvania Rehabilitation Center, Johnstown; and Sheftic's Tri-County Sales, Boswell; partner in former Folton and Borosky Beer Distributors. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Church, with the Rev. Alfred Evanoski O.F.M. Conv., officiating. Interment, Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Daily American, June 3, 1983 [B2058]
