"Buzz" Bothell Jr., 82, of San Angelo, Texas, formerly of Somerset, passed away May 10, 2001. Preceded in death by his parents, Blake A. Bothell Sr. and Ida Elizabeth (Siters) Bothell; infant son, Charles; 2 brothers, James (Hoot) and Roy; 3 sisters, Dorothy, Bertha and Betty. Survived by his wife, Edna Florence (King) to whom he was married Feb. 2, 1940. They spent 61 years loving and caring for each other. Also survived by sons: F. Eugene Bothell and wife, Patty, of Windsor and Roger Bothell of San Angelo, Texas; 5 grandchildren, Kenton Bothell of Arizona, Michele Pollack of Dallastown, Lance Bothell and wife, Lora of Richmond, Texas, Heather Irwin and husband, Larry of League City, Texas and Dallas Bothell and wife, Jennifer of Bayview, Texas; 7 great-grandchildren, Megan Morrison of Dallastown, Ashley and Jenna Bothell of Richmond, Kyrie and Morgan Irwin of League City, and KaSara and Kobie Marie Bothell of Bayview. Also survived by 2 brothers, William Bothell and wife, Margaret (Peg) of Coatesville, and Eugene Bothell and wife, Elizabeth (Lib) of Longwood, Fla.; 2 sisters, Leota Browne of Berlin and Dolores Doran of Chicago, Ill. Retired from General Telephone Co. of Pennsylvania as a construction supervisor with 33 years of service. Served in the U. S. Army for 6 years before and during World War II. Member of the Somerset Volunteer Fireman, Masonic Lodge #358, Shrine of Altoona, Consistory and Somerset County Shrine Club. He was a Little League baseball coach and Boy Scout leader. His hobby was wood carving and he was a member of the Somerset County Woodcarvers. A Masonic service and viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow in Husband Cemetery. A luncheon will be held after the burial. Pastors Roger Forry and Susan Yatta will be officiating and Frank Stinebiser, a very dear friend and fellow woodcarver will deliver the eulogy. Members of the Somerset Volunteer Firemen will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Somerset Fire Dept. or Masonic Lodge #358.
