    Erin Rebecca Bower, 42, Blue Bell, formerly of Meyersdale, died Dec. 4, 2007, at Temple
  University Hospital in Philadelphia. Born April 19, 1965, in Somerset. The daughter of F.
  Owen and Rebecca (Rininger) Bower, Meyersdale. Preceded in death by maternal
  grandparents, Donald C. and Luella (Schrock) Rininger, Somerset; and paternal 
  grandparents, Floyd Omar and Helen (Kemp) Bower, Confluence. Survived by her parents; a
  brother, Douglas O. Bower and his wife, Lisa, Ellicott City, Md.; nieces, Madison
  Elizabeth and Ella Marie Bower; aunts and uncles, Donald C. and Geraldine Rininger Jr.,
  Waltham, Mass.; Donna and Samuel Hall, Confluence; and Terry and Liz Bower, Sevierville,
  Tenn.; and fiancˇ, Samuel "Skip" Viola, Blue Bell. Erin was a 1983 graduate of Meyersdale
  Area High School and a 1987 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. She lived and worked
  in the Philadelphia area most of her adult years. She loved sunshine, books, traveling,
  and her friends. Friends will be received 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Price Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale. A private service and interment will be conducted with the Rev. James Meyers
  officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Meyersdale Public Library or
  the Meyersdale Historical Society. Arrangements by the William Rowe Price Funeral Home
  Inc., Meyersdale.
