  Helen R. Bower, 91, Confluence, died Dec. 6, 2006, in Henry Clay Villa, 
  Markleysburg. She was born Oct. 12, 1915, in Champion. A daughter of Orville
  R. and Bertha (Burnworth) Kemp. She is preceded in death by her parents;
  husband, Floyd O. "Dick" Bower; brothers, Lawrence, Ira, Clyde, Arthur and
  Raymond Kemp; and sisters, Ann McClintock and Gertrude Shipley. She is
  survived by daughter, Donna Hall and husband, Samuel W., Confluence; sons,
  F. Owen and wife, Rebecca (Rininger) Bower, Meyersdale; Terry V. and wife,
  Elizabeth (Holder) Bower, Sevierville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Douglas O. and
  wife, Lisa (Sourbeer) Bower, Ellicott City, Md.; Erin R. Bower, Blue Bell; 
  Jason A. Bower, Charleston, S.C.; Amanda Rhea and husband, Randy, Pigeon
  Forge, Tenn.; and great-grandchildren, Madison Elizabeth and Ella Marie
  Bower. Prior to her marriage Mrs. Bower worked as a telephone operator in
  Confluence. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 
  from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of service, Saturday at the Humbert Funeral
  Home, Confluence. The Rev. Arthur J. Gotjen officiating. Interment
  Turkeyfoot Baptist Cemetery.
