  DESSA E. BOWERS
  
    Dessa E. Bowers, 66, died May 1, 1978, at her home in Salisbury.
    A native of Meyersdale, she was a daughter of the late Stacey E.
  Eaton and Anna Laura (Hersh) Eaton.
    She was a member of Boynton Church of God.
    Surviving are her husband, Lewis Bowers; a daughter, Mrs. Anna Jane
  Bowman, Salisbury; two sons, Charles E. Bowers, Amherst, Ohio; three
  brothers, Roy Eaton and Oscar Eaton, both of Cumberland, Md.; Paul
  Eaton, Washington, D.C.; a sister, Mrs. Anna Lease, Lebanon, Ohio,
  and five grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Thomas Funeral Home, where services
  were conducted May 3 with the Rev. Randy Brant officiating. 
  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
