  HARRY G. BOWERS
  
    Harry G. (Bill) Bowers, 73, of 3425 Terrace Drive, Suitland,
  Maryland, died March 4, 1983, at his home.
    He was born in Avilton, and was a son of Mrs. Ruby C. (Broadwater)
  Bowers, Oxon Hill, and the late George W. Bowers, Oxon Hill, Md.; and
  Freeman N. Bowers, Grantsville, Maryland.
    He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, a veteran of World
  War II and a life member of Suitland Post 284, VFW.  He was a retired
  self-employed floor sander.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home.  A Catholic
  service was conducted at the funeral home by the Rev. Aidan Lucko,
  OFM Cap.  Interment will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, where military
  rites were accorded at the graveside by Farrady Post 24, American
  Legion.
