  BOWERS
  
    Homer C. Bowers, 67, of Treasure Island, Fla., formerly of
  Salisbury, went home to be with Jesus Aug. 16, 1997.  Born Jan. 15,
  1930, son of the late Christ J. and Emma (Stanton) Bowers of
  Boynton.  Preceded in death by a brother, Harry.  Survived by his
  wife of 46 years, Jean; two daughters:  Roxanne Livengood of Springs
  and Reggie Bock of Treasure Island, Fla.; two grandchildren:  Jessica
  and Justin Livengood; three sisters:  Dorothy Gaughan, Alverta Bowers
  and Gladys Brown, all of Reading.  In memory of Homer, donations may
  be made to the Church of God, 5595 66th St. N., St. Petersburg, Fla.,
