  LEWIS C. BOWERS
  
    Lewis C. Bowers, 75, of Salisbury died Dec. 3, 1980, in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.
    He was born Aug. 5, 1905, in Greenville Township, a son of the late
  Christ and Margaret Jane (Gross) Bowers.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Dessa E. Eaton. 
  He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Anna Jane Bowman of Salisbury; two
  sons:  Ralph C. of Amherst, Ohio; a brother, Oscar, Harrisburg; a
  sister, Mrs. Ida Hochard, Boynton; and five grandchildren.  He was a
  member of the Boynton Church of God.
    Friends were received in the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where
  services were held with the Rev. Randy F. Brant officiating. 
  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
