  BOWERS
  
    Vesta Z. Bowers, 86, of Somerset, formerly of Stoystown RD 3
  (Kimmelton), went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 17, 1996, at
  Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate.  Born May 14, 1910, in Kimmelton. 
  Daughter of Charles and Ida (Custer) Sipe.  Preceded in death by
  parents; husband, Harry H., and son, Ronald.  Survived by daughters,
  Jean, married to Clyde "Bud" Phillips, and Ellie Miller, both of
  Stoystown RD 3; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, 11
  great-great-grandchildren.  Also sister, Anita "Sissie" Shaffer,
  Somerset.  Faithful member of Mostoller United Methodist Church. 
  Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Viewing from 10
  a.m. Friday at Mostoller United Methodist Church, the Revs. David
  Jack and Samuel Weible officiating.  Memorial contributions may be
  given to Mostoller UM Church, RD 3, Stoystown, Pa. 15563.
